Kindersley is known as the Oil & Gas capital of Saskatchewan, having hosted oil exploration and extraction companies since the 1950s.

In 2000 RENEX® acquired the lease of 277,419 hectares of prime oil land in Kindersley, Saskatchewan following its first successful exploration operation outside of Alberta.

Today, RENEX® operates eleven active extraction sites in Kindersley, strategically positioned to optimize resource recovery and minimize waste. With a 4,872 barrels of oil per day (BPD) average, the Kindersley operation continues to play a crucial role in RENEX®'s portfolio as the largest single operation by the company, contributing significantly to our presence and success in Canada.
