Swift Current

Swift Current operations began in 2004, following the success and expansion of RENEX®'s first Saskatchewan venture in Kindersley. Located in the southwestern part of Saskatchewan, Swift Current is home to a range of oil extraction opportunities, with significant oil reserves that continue to drive growth for RENEX®.

In 2004 RENEX® successfully acquired a 60% stake in a neighbouring firm, which led to complete purchase of the firm in 2006. Following the success of these acquisition methods in the Swift Current area, we successfully purchased 40% in another firm in 2019, leading to the third operation being added to our Swift Current Portfolio.

With a 2,405 barrels of oil per day (BPD) average from just 3 operations, Swift Current operations are the most efficient in the RENEX® Portfolio.

Swift Current is a key oil drilling location in Saskatchewan, known for its rich oil reserves and established role in the province's energy sector. With a history of oil exploration dating back to the 1950s, the area has become a significant hub for light crude extraction and production. The region continues to contribute substantially to Saskatchewan’s oil production, playing an important role in the local and national economy.
