Net-Zero by 2050

In February 2020, we set an ambitious goal to become a net-zero company by 2050 (or sooner) and to contribute to global net-zero efforts. This vision is backed by several specific aims outlined in the plan.

We believe that, together, these goals outline a clear path for bp that aligns with the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
